QTerminals Antalya Port hosted the luxury cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 from the city of Heraklion (Heraklion) on the island of Crete with 3 thousand 219 passengers.
Turkey's leading commercial cargo and cruise port, QTerminals Antalya, hosted the Maltese-flagged luxury cruise ship Mein Schiff 6, arriving from Heraklion. The 295-meter-long, 98,811 gross-ton giant boat anchored in the harbour has 2,301 passengers and 918 crew. Passengers who got off the ship visited the historical places of Antalya and shopped. The Mein Schiff 6 ship last visited Antalya in 2018.
Özgür Sert, General Manager of QTerminals Antalya, said, "This year has been a busy year in cruise tourism. In line with the reservations, we have hosted nearly 10 thousand passengers who came with 15 cruise ships so far. By the end of the year, we anticipate reaching approximately 35 thousand passengers with 38 cruise ships in line with reservations. QTerminals Antalya has an important role in domestic and international tourism in the Mediterranean with the capacity of its port facilities and service quality.
