Patara Beach is one of the longest beaches in the world, where the air temperature is 26-27 degrees and the sea water temperature is 23-24 degrees. Patara is the center of attention of foreign tourists. Due to the fact that it is intertwined with the Patara Ancient City, Russian families with children come to the ancient Patara Beach, especially due to the war between Russia and Ukraine. English, German and Ukrainian tourists, as well as those from other western European countries, come to the ancient beach where children of all ages swim and play with the sand from morning to night.
Ali Pehlivan, the manager of the facilities belonging to Kaş Municipality, said, "The weather is very nice. It is sunny and calm. There is no wind blowing on Patara Beach some days and making tourists miss it. Therefore, tourists continue to come to Patara Beach with an intensity that has not been seen in previous years. Between 500 and 750 tourists continue to come daily. The world-famous golden sands of Patara Beach have been the greatest entertainment for children. Children enjoy the sea, sun and playing on the beach all day long with their families. As employees, we are also very happy.
