Within the scope of the Konyaaltı International Short Film Festival, hundreds of films will meet with the audience.

 Konyaaltı International Short Film Festival (KISFF) will take place for three days between 3-5 February 2023 at Konyaaltı Municipality Nazım Hikmet Congress and Fair Center. Short films from all over the world will meet the audience in Konyaaltı. 

Within the scope of the festival, it was reported that a festival selection will be created from thousands of short films sent by directors from abroad to the Konyaaltı International Short Film Festival. The festival will focus on non-commercial short films; fiction, documentaries, animations, music videos, experimental films, etc. Applications for inclusion and accessibility will be particularly encouraged. 

Konyaaltı International Short Film Festival (KISFF) was organized by Konyaaltı Municipality with the support of the British Council Turkey and the Carousel platform. The executive of the Barrier-Free Oska Film Festival from England, and Kultur und Art Initiative e.V., the director of the Detmold International Short Film Festival from Germany.

Global Topics to be Covered 

The main topics of the short film festival to be organized by Konyaaltı Municipality will be global issues such as climate change, health, human rights and refugees. Konyaaltı Mayor Semih Esen stated that they will take care to bring diversity-oriented films to art lovers, and with short films, whatever belongs to human beings, basic issues that concern the present and future of the world, will be reflected on the screen with humanity and humanity. Esen also said, “We will organize the festival with an understanding that defends everyone's right to participate in cultural life equally. KISFF will be a festival of diversity, inclusion and togetherness.” 

Accessible Festival

 Konyaaltı International Short Film Festival director Levent Arslan stated that they want to ensure participation in the festival on equal terms and that they are making an effort to organize an unhindered festival. They will take part in the events as individuals who produce and consume together, Arslan said, “We aim to enjoy the movies together. The festival will be a celebration of diversity, inclusion and togetherness. Artists who want to take part in KISFF can join the festival by contacting us. In addition to workshops, art exhibitions, live performances, concerts and talks, the 'directors' night', which will become a KISFF classic, will form the backbone of the festival. Thus, it will be possible for film directors to meet with the audience in Konyaaltı.”
