The walking path of Altınbeşik Cave in Antalya's İbradı district is now safer with rock barriers reinforced with steel wire and elbows.
The hiking path of Altınbeşik Cave has the world's third and Turkey's largest underground cave lake. It is on the western slope of the deep and steep Manavgat Valley in Altınbeşik Cave National Park. It was carried out by the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP). The rock barriers were built for the safe walking of the tourists who use the 1.5-kilometer walkway to reach the cave. They have been strengthened with steel wire and elbows to protect against rock and stone fragments that may fall from the valley slope.
