1 Million Visits to Düden Waterfall in 1 Year

The waterfall fascinates local and foreign tourists with its beauty

The Düden Waterfall welcomes thousands of local and foreign tourists every year with its unique view in Antalya. It attracted a high level of interest in the last days of the year. Süleyman Yavuz is responsible for Düden Waterfall, stating that more than 1 million visitors visited the waterfall between January 1st and December 30th. 

Düden Waterfall is closing the year 2022 by hosting more than 1 million people. In the last days of the year, interest in Düden Waterfall is in the Vergik Mahallesi of Kepez district and operated under the control of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is quite high. The winter scenery of the waterfall, where the locals as well as the tourists who vacation in the region come and visit in groups, fascinates. The cave is under the waterfall. The flow rate rises due to the rain and creates a visual feast, also draws attention with its mystical atmosphere. Tourists passing under the dripping water from inside the cave have the opportunity to see the waterfall from the background.

 Stating that Düden Waterfall is open 7 days a week and can be visited. The waterfall manager Süleyman Yavuz said that those who witnessed the visual feast due to the high water flow took photos for hours to view those moments. Explaining the numerical data of the interest in the waterfall throughout the year, Yavuz said, “Over 1 million people visited the waterfall between January 1st and December 30th. These people took millions of photos and shared them on different platforms," he said. 

Gufran Magidi, who came to Iran on vacation with his family, said, “The waterfall is beautiful. I watched the water for hours. It calmed my soul. We traveled all around with my family. It has a magnificent visuality.” (İbrahim Laleli- DHA)
