Drawing attention to the wild beauty, Uçarsu Waterfall springs from Akdağ, the highest point of the Western Taurus Mountains, on Gömbe Plateau of Kaş district.
The waters gushing from the 1800 meters height of Akdağ at an altitude of 3024 meters fly like a white cloud down the rocks at an altitude of about 50 meters, with a cave underneath. The waterfall is called Uçarsu because the water passes and creates impressive views.
The waterfall's water can be seen even from a distance due to the barren area it is in. It flows through a 4.5 kilometer valley to the Çayboğazı Dam on the Gömbe Plain. The waters accumulating here give life to the surrounding areas. The intensity of the water can change throughout the year, especially depending on the melting of the snow on the summit of Akdağ.
When they approach the region, those who want to explore the waterfall, which has been reached after a grueling journey, greet the vast landscape, silence, clean and cool mountain air. Watching the flow of water pouring enthusiastically out of the rocks gives visitors a different experience.
