Tazı Canyon

Located 10 km north of Köprülü Canyon National Park is within the borders of the Manavgat and Serik districts. The Tazı Canyon is a natural wonder discovered by travelers in 2017. It is increasing its popularity day by day, although it has been known by the local people living in the region for a long time.
 
The distance between the Tazı Canyon and the center of Antalya is 105 km. It would be best to first come to Köprülü Canyon National Park to reach the valley. From here, continue in the direction of Beşkonak, cross the Selge fork, and after about 8 km towards Gaziler Village, the Tazi sign is on the right. Entering this turn and continuing for another 4 km, you reach the cemetery of Gaziler Village. The canyon is reached after leaving the vehicles and walking for about 1200 meters.
 
Tazı Canyon impresses its visitors as soon as they see it with its breathtaking stunning visuals and unique atmosphere. It is included in the travel plans of more and more people every day.
 
The canyon promises an extraordinary experience for photography and nature lovers with an enchanting panoramic view. It is said that the width of the 4 km long canyon between two mountains is 30-50 meters and its sidewalls are 200-400 meters high.
 
You can follow the traces of natural life around the canyon, also known as Wisdom Valley. Köprülü Canyon National Park includes the Tazı Canyon; mammals such as caracal, fox, deer, wild goat, lynx, bear, wolf, marten, hare and badger, golden eagle, griffon vulture, rock sparrow, rock nuthatch, golden eagle, stone gilt, red bunting, thunderbird. It is possible to come across bird species such as rock pigeon, snake eagle, rock swallow, rock bunting.
 
Tazı Canyon and its surroundings are rich in flora, and there are Taurus Fir, black pine, cypress, juniper and cedar trees.
 
Activities such as trekking, photography, and camping can be done in the Hound Canyon. Among the places to visit around the canyon are Köprülü Canyon National Park, Selge Ancient City, Historical Oluk Bridge and Köprüçay. In spring and summer, rafting in Köprüçay is another option.
