Anatolian Toy Museum

The museum is in Dokuma Park in the Kepezdistrict and was established in 2017. Anatolian Toy Museum contains collectionsthat appeal to all ages and cultural groups.

There are approximately 5000 toys in the 750m2closed-display area of ​​the museum, which is established on a site of​​approximately 4.000m2. The museum provides children with information aboutthe evolution and history of toys, on the other hand, it gives the youngergenerations the mission of preserving traditional values.

 Although there are examples of toys playedworldwide in the collection, local toys from our traditional past and sheddinglight on Anatolian toy history constitute the majority of the museum. There are15 different themes and 15 different arrangements in the 15 halls of themuseum, which makes a difference from its original design. Apart from thethemed halls, each giving visitors a different atmosphere, there is a 150 m2children's workshop. Toys in 10 different themes are exhibited in 10 showcasesin the museum's corridors. The spaces on the corridor walls are also used asdisplay areas, where various toys are lined up. 

The exit door of the Anatolian Toy Museumopens to a magnificent park that draws attention with exceptional design. Thereare centuries-old olive trees, unique plant designs and sculptures of cartooncharacters in the park, where children enjoy playing.

 With multi-purpose halls, educationalprograms, workshops and other events held, Anadolu Toy Museum serves as asocial meeting place where children learn by having fun and spend quality timewith their families.
