Iotape (Aytap) Ancient City Campground

Iotape Ancient City, located in one of the uniquely beautiful bays between Alanya and Gazipaşa districts, is 33 km from Alanya and 10 km from Gazipaşa. The city is popularly known as Aytap. Iotape, a Cilician coastal city, was named after A.D. King of Commagene IV, who lived between 38-72 years. It comes from Iotape, the wife of Antiochus.

Among the most prominent remains of the Iotape Ancient City, which has many historical ruins, are the bath and the city's temple walls. There are areas suitable for setting up tents between the flat sections consisting of 3 pieces of ware, located directly opposite the temple.

It is a unique experience to wake up to the view of the temple by the sea in the camping area, which leaves visitors along with the ancient city's historical atmosphere and spends hours in a unique natural beauty mixed with history.

There is a cave around the camping area, which is only suitable for setting up tents. It is possible to swim in the cave.

There are businesses such as restaurants and markets about 200 meters from the camping area. Since there is no freshwater source in the region, it is recommended that campers come to the campsite by providing their needs in advance.
