In Antalya, where the Mediterranean climate prevails, summers are dry and hot, and winters are warm and rainy. The cold and semi-continental climate type is seen in the city's inner parts and mountainous regions with this feature. It is classified as a maritime and warm sea climate.
 
The average temperature is between 30 and 34 degrees in summer. In summer, temperatures exceeding 40 degrees are seen at noon. In January, temperatures vary between 9 and 15 degrees. While meteorological events such as snow and frost are rare in the city centre, snowfalls occur in high altitudes and inland areas.
 
Summers are both long and hot in the coastal regions of Antalya. Severe colds are not encountered in the winter months either. The city's annual average relative humidity is around 64%. There is no rain in the summer, but heavy rains are encountered in the first months of autumn, December and January. The city has an average of 300 days of sunshine. The weather is cloudy and rainy for a short period of the year.
