SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, is expanding the European flight network with new destinations in the summer of 2021. This summer, the airline is launching direct scheduled flights from its hub in Antalya to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
As of June 18, SunExpress will operate flights twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, to the new international destination Ljubljana, which it will offer with reciprocal flights from Antalya.
SunExpress offers six new destinations on international lines and two new destinations on domestic lines from Antalya this summer. With new flights, the airline connects central Antalya to 38 international destinations and ten domestic destinations. The airline had recently announced that it would support Turkish tourism to make a strong comeback in the summer of 2021, after a stagnant year due to the pandemic and travel restrictions.
